MSD new VBSF (Vaccine, Biologics, Sterile Facility)
Located on a 65-acre site, the new plant consists of a production facility, maintenance and material storage facility and an energy centre covering an area of approx. 17,000sqm.
The production facility houses a vial filling line, a syringe filling line and associated formulation & support areas for vaccine / Biologics products.
Insight Project Services provided project / programme planning support services for the engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, qualification and operational start-up of the new facility.
In 2013, the project was named winner of the Operational Excellence Category in the ISPE’s Facility of the Year Awards.
